Update in default store location delivery logic
You now have more control over how customers are assigned to store locations for delivery orders. Previously, guests had to manually select a store to order, even for delivery. With this update, you can now automatically assign them to the nearest eligible location, simplifying the guest experience and improving operational accuracy.
This is especially helpful for brands with strict delivery zones or food that doesn’t travel well.
How it Works:
You can manage this setting directly in your dashboard:
Option 1: Let customers choose any store: Recommended for multi-concept brands. Guests can select any delivery-enabled store, even if it’s not the closest—ideal for brands with unique menus or where flexibility is a priority.
Option 2: Auto-assign the nearest store: Recommended for single-concept brands. Guests are automatically assigned to the closest delivery-capable location based on their address—minimizing delivery errors and ensuring food arrives fresh.
